One of the many treasures of Forest Park in Saint Louis: the Saint Louis Zoo. Born out of the 1904 World’s Fair, the zoo is now home to over 18,000 animals and insects. Free to the public and open to all, the zoo sprawls over 90 acres in the middle of Forest Park and features beautiful animal exhibits and environments, sculptures and artwork, and picturesque vistas to enjoy with family and friends.
