In my humble opinion, illustrations should be paired with type! Almost all of these ink drawings were created with Sakura Pigma Ink brushes and a water brush pen on Canson mixed media paper. You can see more of my work on my Instagram throughout the year, but especially during #Inktober (one ink drawing a day during the month of October).

I love making artwork that helps tell a story. From spot illustrations to full two-page spreads — along with plenty of hand-drawn type — I relish any opportunity to see my artwork in print and aid brilliant writers with their stories. Working under the direction of wonderful art directors and teams, I can transform a brief into a spread with its own distinct aesthetic to match a writer’s voice.
